chucktown

These six girls know how to spring break. Seriously! What the pictures don't show are morning power walks even when it was really windy, yoga on the beach, 9+ hours of sleep per night (hallelujah), good books, a little place called Bagel Nation (home to the best bagels ever and tons of flavored coffees. Meagan ate there 4 times.), happy hour everyday at five WITH CHEESE, and dare I say, drinks with Citadel boys. It was fabulous.

Meg and I also got to visit our friend Trent for a day-trip to Savannah and to his home in the lovely Beaufort, South Carolina where drank coke out of glass bottles and pretended to own boat houses. It was like we were in a Nicholas Sparks book but better.

So all in all, a great spring break to end on! Remember after my birthday last year when I said that it's totally not fair for the rest of the people in the world that I have the most spectacular, awesome, hilarious friends? It's still true. They really should be more evenly distributed but they just aren't, and I'm the lucky girl who gets to go on vacation with them.

My only complaint is that I didn't eat any shrimp and grits. How do you go to Charleston and not eat shrimp and grits? I'm so ashamed. Also, the a/c in the camry broke, so I guess that's two complaints, but let's get real. If I had all those things, what would I have to look forward to in heaven? It's going to be like last week WITH shrimp and grits AND a car that's check engine light isn't always on. Overwhelming to think about.
